Τhe Laboratory of Knowledge and Intelligent Computing (KIC) of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of University of Ioannina, has designed an educational game for children aiming to raise awareness and motivate them in reducing and recycling plastic waste. The game begins with the moving story of “Federica”, a sea turtle which is in danger, as being drown by a plastic bag floating on the sea. The story is followed be an interesting educational quiz on plastic waste and its sustainable use. Children learn and play at the same time by discovering new knowledge! Finally, a clean up activity takes place on a beach and guess what: the more plastic waste you collect, the higher you score!
